Simon Bell

Head of Executive Careers

Simon began his career in education as a teacher and now has over 30 years in professional recruitment. He built an outstanding track record with one of the world’s largest staffing firms, recruiting finance professionals in London and later leading high-performing recruitment and executive search teams across a diverse client base.

After relocating to the Midlands, Simon established and grew a regional Executive Search function and was appointed Managing Director of Page Executive in 2013. He was also proud to be named REC UK Headhunter of the Year in 2010. Under his leadership, the business more than doubled in size - giving Simon unrivalled insight into how employers assess CVs, interviews, and candidate potential.

From Hiring Decisions to Career Coaching

In 2014, Simon founded Grays Search and Selection, working with leading brands, SMEs, public sector organisations, and charities. He has recruited extensively at executive and board level, developing a deep understanding of how shortlisting, interviews, and final hiring decisions are really made.

Kirsty Bell

Supporting Confident Career Starts

Kirsty leads the Early Careers offering at Grays Careers, supporting students, graduates, and early-career professionals with career guidance, CV development, interview preparation, and confidence building. Her work focuses on helping individuals make informed career choices and present themselves effectively at key transition points.

Recruitment and Employer Insight

Kirsty began her career as a graduate trainee with Michael Page and has since built extensive experience in graduate recruitment. She has worked with globally recognised organisations including Goldman Sach as Co-Head of Investment Banking Recruitment (Undergraduate and MBA, Deutsche Bank and major international and Magic Circle law firm A&O Sherman as Head of International Recruitment. This experience has given her strong insight into what leading employers look for in early-career talent.

Her background in executive search means she understands recruitment standards at the highest level - experience she translates into practical, accessible guidance for those at the start of their careers.
